Support Our Mission

Our organization would like to participate in workforce development on the Gulf Coast by advertising on the local radio station.  Last year, we were able to reach 61,000 unique site visitors from around the world. However, we're not being used by our local area employment service providers due to lack of publicity. If we provided underwritings to the local public radio station, we could get involved with the local workforce development agencies and provide our social media resources for the job hunt, as well as advocate for employers to hire veterans, persons with disabilities, ex offenders, and displaced workers.

We created useful social media tools for the job hunt and up-to-date resources for veterans, persons with disabilities, and ex offenders.  However, our resources aren't being used by the community in which we live due to lack of funding for publicity. The founder has donated thousands of hours to create the website, written blog posts for the past two years, tweeted thousands of resources, published our weekly newspaper, filed legal documents, and run our nonprofit.  In addition, she and her husband have used their personal funds to support this nonprofit.

Help us help spread the news about our useful resources for the job hunt! We decided to ask for a specific amount of $400 to fund our NPR sponsorship package to air 60, 15-35 second spots on the local radio station.  These spots would publicize our website and describe our mission to help job seekers find employment.
