Still Serving Veterans is an Alabama-based nonprofit organization that provides case management services to unemployed disabled veterans. The case managers assist vets with short and long-term planning, filing VA claims, and job leads. Our organization has formed an alliance with Still Serving Veterans to advocate on the hiring of disabled veterans and to network on their behalf to produce more job leads for them to share with the veterans.
www.myfloridamilitary.com is a great site for veterans to use for jobs. It’s only been in operation for a couple of years but has grown tremendously. Opportunity Florida, a regional economic development organization servicing eight rural counties in Northwest Florida, started the site. (Reader Recommended)

Educational Opportunities for Veterans:
The Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS) and the Employment and Training Administration’s (ETA) Job Corps are partnering in a demonstration project that will provide Job Corps’ comprehensive array of career development services to eligible Veterans 20-24 years old to prepare them for successful careers. - Atterbury Job Corps Center in Edinburgh, Indiana;
- Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center in Morganfield, Kentucky; and

- Troops to Teachers provides Counseling and Referral services to military personnel interested in beginning a second career in public education as a teacher.
